We have a variety of options to help you to trade with us in a way that suits you – whether you prefer to pay cash or have a trade credit account.

Trade Credit Account

With a trade credit account you can enjoy the following benefits:

Up to 60 days credit
Discounts on the major product categories you buy, with our preferential trade account terms
Pay the same whichever branch you trade with, with our Global account terms
Use your account to trade with some of the leading specialist trade brands in the industry, including Plumb Center, Parts Center, Drain Center, Pipe Center and Climate Center

Cash customers

Customers who are currently paying cash have an option to move to a Privilege Plus Account. The Privilege Plus Card* gives you up to 5% cash back in the form of a voucher to be spent in any Build Center branch. PLUS 10%-45% off a core range of Build Center products.

You also get up to 45 days interest free credit and there's NO annual fee, so if you pay off your balance each month, the card is completely free to use.

As a Privilege Plus cardholder you can also benefit from a range of business services including:

A fuel card which saves you 1p per litre on all fuel purchases at over 2700 Shell, Esso and Total sites nationwide
10% discount on Vehicle, Public and Employer Liability Insurance
20% discount on BUPA Private Medical Insurance
5% discount on a Mobile Tyre Fitting and Battery Replacement service

For customers that don’t want a credit facility you can apply for a standard Privilege Card. This also gives you access to trade discounts and you earn a 1% cash back voucher.
