Build Center unveils new identity for ironmongery business
Build Center, Wolseley construction materials distributor, has created a chain of Ironmongery Centers as part of the re-focusing of its specialist businesses.
There are 17 Ironmongery Centers across the country, dedicated solely to supplying ironmongery materials and specialist services, plus nine branches which operate from existing Build Centers nationwide. These are clearly identified by new exterior signage.
Ironmongery Centers now offer a wider product range from leading manufacturers, along with Dryad architectural ironmongery, which is exclusive to Wolseley. Specially trained, experienced staff are on hand to offer expert advice and provide a wide range of services including architectural specification, key cutting and power tool repairs.
Paul Gordon, Build Center’s managing director, said: “We are investing in our landscaping, ironmongery and timber specialisms to create greater prominence and clarity about our areas of expertise, and the broad range of specialist products and services available.”
The first three flagship Ironmongery Centers are being created in Darlington, Hull and Dundee. These branches are being fully refurbished and feature a spacious trade counter area and new product displays.
