Build Center launches specialist landscape branches
Build Center, part of the Wolseley group, is opening specialist ‘Landscape Centers’ across the UK in March 2008.
Landscape Centers will be created at 19 existing Build Center locations, clearly identified by new branding on exterior signage and product displays in the yard.
Landscape Centers will now feature a defined area dedicated to landscaping displays. Branches will stock an extended range of landscape products and materials from leading manufacturers, including Marshalls driveway and patio products, FinnForest decking and cabins and Britannia fencing and garden structures. Also available will be Build Center’s exclusive own brand products, such as Arundel and Indian Sandstone paving.
Additionally, a site in Widnes will be dedicated solely to supplying landscaping materials.
Paul Gordon, Build Center’s managing director, said: “This is an exciting development for Build Center, which clearly identifies our landscape expertise and focuses on the broad range of specialist products available.”
An on-site landscape product specialist will be based at each Landscape Center to provide expert guidance and a new ‘driveway and garden visualiser’ service will be introduced. This software uses photography of the customer’s existing patio or driveway to illustrate various finished results achieved by using different products and materials.
The breadth of the product range is highlighted in a new Landscape Product Guide, along with details of the Landscape Center design service where highly skilled designers take the customer’s brief and create tailor-made plans.
